We love working with other creatives who share our love for color and a good laugh! Jenny o Jens definitely checks all the boxes, and we’re so glad to have them nearby. They’re also a couple in life and work, who left the city when they had kids, for a life on the countryside. Jenny is a photographer and Jens is a 3D artist, and together they create wonderful art prints which often leave you wondering if what you see actually happened or not.

This week Johanna and Jenny got together to create an inspiring living area with a summertime mood - that works all year round of course! See a video of the process here.

We started out making the art wall with big prints like Jenny o Jens “Parking Lot Smile” & “Lolly” and our “Totem Animal Garden” & “TRP Protector mint”, and then added on smaller prints like our riso prints “Boom boom”, “Grow Yourself Happy” and “Rave rabbit”. We prefer trying things out, taking a step back, and then adjusting if we feel like it. Our best tip is really to not be afraid to make holes in your walls, and just try, try try! Otherwise you will never know:)

We loved using our new sofa from Sofacompany and adding our new patterned cushion covers “Totem Bird” and “Totem animal Garden”. For the floor we wanted a big rug so we chose a checkered one (this purple one is not in the shop yet, but just email us for inquiries about it!). We also used one of our favourite lamps from Swedish Ninja, and their gorgeous coffee tables. In the little pink box to the right we put a ceramic pot from a newly discovered favourite - ceramist/designer Anna Carin Dahl who lives in a village close by!

Jenny took all the beautiful shots of the room, Emil documented the process and we had some great chats during the day. We both love interior and creating joyful environments, without taking it all too seriously, and I guess the same goes for life as well. It’s pretty short, full of obstacles and and challenges - so we might as well make it as fun as we possibly can - and share that joy with the people around us.
