START YOUR ART WALL - 3 SIMPLE STEPS!
As we move towards those long light evenings, we feel more inspired than ever to bring lots of bright colours into our home - how about you? It’s often said that this time of year is great for stepping out of our comfort zones and making bold decisions, and it could definitely be that the same goes for interiors as well. If you’re tempted to add some more colour to your home but don’t know where to start - now could be a great time! (trust us, it’s a real mood booster!) Read on for some of our best ideas on the subject.

Our 3 best ideas to get your art wall started:

  1. Go asymmetrical! By not hanging your art in straight lines, you can start out with just a few pictures and still make it look nice. As you find more and more pieces you love, it will be easy to add them to the wall and still make it look like they were meant to be there all along.

  2. Start big or start with favourites! Think about which painting/picture you’d like to have as a focus point, and build your art wall around it. By doing so, you’ll make sure it has the best spot and the other pictures will simply have to accept their places next to it!

  3. Have fun! There’s really no rules (at least not according to us:) and if you change your mind remember - you can always change the pictures. If you never try you never know (yes it’s a cliché but oh so true for life AND art walls!:)
